Melba Merry Go Round Novelty Tea Pot & Milk Jug

Rare novelty teapot modelled as a carousel and hand painted in colours.
Printed marks :- “ Melba Merry Go Round” and “Registered Design applied for”
A few Staffordshire potteries subsequently tried producing this design, but this was the first produced and notably the best decorated example of the design.
Since listing this item, we have found the milk jug which accompanied this teapot and are therefore re-listing both together.
Condition is extremely good with no cracks, chips, wear or restoration.
