1920's Childrens Mug 1st series by Hilda Cowham for Shelley

A Childs mug designed by Hilda Cowham for her first series for Shelley and produced between 1924-1927. The " A Hunting we will go "design shows children seated on toy wooden horses on wheels, and has the rhyme on the back - A Hunting we will go, Though our horses ore made of wood. They are always very go(od), Tally ho! Tally ho!, A Hunting we will go!
This mug is extremely scarce.
Condition is good but has had two hairline cracks in the white areas professionally (virtually invisibly) restored.
Marked to the base with the printed mark SHELLEY CHINA within a green shield and the 1924 Registered Design No. 700691 (see pic above)
