Paragon Tinker Tailor Series Mug by Louis Wain (Sold)

A scarce Paragon porcelain child's mug, hand painted in enamels, from the Tinker Tailor series introduced in 1918 and designed by Louis Wain.
The mug is decorated with an illustration of two cats walking a pig to market, and the legend above "Going To Market",also marked below with the signature of Louis Wain.
Condition is extremely good on the outside with no apparent wear, scratches or damage. But there is a hairline on the inside of the cup that doesn’t go though to the outside.
Marked to base with the Paragon Star mark and "PARAGON CHINA ENGLAND Tinker Tailor Series" and the hand painted pattern number “6909” in orange with a “z” or “2” also in orange below the number (probably the decorator's mark).
