A scarce 1920s whistle egg cup modelled as a racing car in brown lustre glaze and with a clown driver.
Condtion is excellent - no damage or restoration and with little or no wear.
Marked "foreign" to its base with the familiar circular backstamp typically used on novelty eggcups produced in Germany for the English market just after the 1st World War.
