1920s Scarce Whistle Egg Cup Modelled as a Policeman (Sold)

Whistle eggcups from the 1920s are extremely scarce anyway - but here is a particularly fine example of one of the scarcest and most desirable of them.
This policeman whistle eggcup is in great condition for it's age with little or no wear to the paintwork, no cracks, chips or restoration and is marked "foreign" to its base with the familiar circular backstamp typically used on novelty eggcups produced in Germany for the English market just after the 1st World War.
