Extremely scarce miniature handmade and painted Walking Ware teapot. Designed by Roger Michell and made by him at his own Lustre Pottery. Painted mark for Lustre Pottery and dated ‘76. Roger Michell and Danka Napriokowska first designed and made Walking Ware at their own Lustre Pottery prior to Roger becoming one of Carltonware’s chief designers and the Carltonware production of those designs. This miniature teapot is a handmade prototype from this period, and is slightly smaller than the Carlton Ware / Lustre Pottery later versions.
