Cross Legged ("X-Legs") Walking Ware teapot. Designed and made by Roger Michell at his Lustre Pottery and decorated by Danka Napriokowska. This is one of a limited edition of only 500. Each pot was numbered and initialled by Roger Michell (the original designer of Walking Ware for Carlton Ware and Lustre Pottery) under the glaze on the bottom of a foot. A limitation certificate signed by Roger Michell will also be provided.

These were produced as a special limited edition for The Carlton Ware Collectors Club in the late 1990s and we were lucky enough to have secured the last five for sale. Only 60 out of the quota of 500 pots were in fact produced before the moulds were destroyed, so these are even more scarce than originally thought.
