Paragon China Teaplate - Pixie Playtime Series by J. A. Robinson

Scarce porcelain teaplate from the Pixie Playtime Series, designed by J. A. Robinson and made by Paragon China in the 1920's and illustrated with pixies / elves at various activities. This is from the same series as the porcelain mugs -items 150 and 300 on this website.
Transfer printed and hand-painted in enamels.
Condition is excellent apart from 2 tiny yellow stains in the cream ground - one at three-o-clock, the other at six-o-clock - only noticed on close inspection.
Bearing the printed mark "ROYAL PARAGON BY APPOINTMENT" within a recangular border containing the Royal Coat of Arms - and below "MADE IN ENGLAND REGD."

(This series "Pixie Playtime" was not mentioned by Maureen Batkin in her excellent book "Gifts for Good Children - The History of Children's China Part II 1890 -1990" but she does mention on page 122, one piece with the legend "Please Ring" confusingly in connection with the "Future Telling Series. We have a milk jug with that legend see item 89 on this site which clearly is from this same Pixie Playtime Series.)
