.The rhyme on the cup reads "
When When we are wed we'll be neat and trim, But what will we be married in?
" and around the rim are the words,
Coach, Donkey Cart, Motor Car Train
. The legend on the saucer reads "
One I love, Two I love, Three I love I say, Four I love with all my heart, Five I cast away, Six, he loves, Seven, she loves, Eight both love, Nine he comes, Ten he tarries, Eleven he courts, Twelve he marries.
" and around the rim are the words,
Silk Satin Muslin, Rags Plus fours Oxford bags
(repeated twice). Condition is good with no chips, cracks or restorations.
Both cup and saucer are hand painted and bear the name J. A. Robinson below the illustrations. They also both are marked to the base with the Paragon Star mark and PARAGON FINE BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND
